About the Role

Responsibilities:

Ensure a safe working environment and continuously identify opportunities for improving safety protocols for both personnel and equipment.

Administer the Automated System Software Platform, including:

Security Access Management

Platform Software Patch Applications

Software Configuration Items (CI) database maintenance (CMDB)

Coordination of platform software updates

Monitoring and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)

Develop and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for platform operations and support.

Assist in Platform/Systems Validation activities, including Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Science/Information Technology).

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience administrating Process Automation Systems and Platforms, ideally within a cGMP-regulated environment. Experience with at least two platforms, such as:


  • Emerson Delta-V

  • Rockwell Aset Center

  • Rockwell Factory Talk

  • Johnson Controls Metasys

  • Aveva Pi

  • Experience working in a cGMP regulated environment is highly preferred.


  • Additional Skills/Preferences:

    • Strong commitment to safety, ensuring the well-being of both self and colleagues.

    • Experience implementing Data Integrity (DI) controls.

    • Experience in automation engineering and DeltaV administration is highly desirable.

    • Familiarity with cybersecurity enforcement protocols.

This position is an exciting opportunity to join a groundbreaking project at a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility being developed in Lebanon, IN, which will produce Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). As the company's largest investment in manufacturing capacity, this facility will support current and future products, including new modalities. The Senior Manufacturing System Administrator will be a key member of the startup team, contributing to the establishment of processes and systems for a successful transition into GMP manufacturing operations.
